Ich habe mich unter seiner Leitung mit Fragen der Automatisierung der Flugsicherung beschäftigt. Diese Aufgaben sind dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß bei der Ver…wendung von elektronischen Rechenmaschinen Listen im Spei eher geführtwerdenmüssen, die schwierig zu organisieren sind. Es erweist sich, daß für die meistendieser Listen der Adressen speieher nur eine sehr unbeholfene Lösung bietet, Eine ähnliche Problematik tritt auch bei zahlreichen anderen Aufgaben der Informationsverarbeitung auf. Es ist jedoch so, daß Flugsiche rungsprobleme im allgemeinen ganz besondere Forderungen an eine sehr schnelle Verarbeitung stellen, so daß organisatorische Unzulänglichkeiten gerade hier beseitigt werden mussen. Ich möchte an dieser Stelle den vielen herzlich danken, die zu dieser Arbeit beigetragen haben; dabei ist zuerst Herr Professor Ha a c k selbst zu nennen; dann aus meiner eigenen Arbeitsgruppe Herr Dr. Springer und Fräulein Lot z; darüber hinaus haben Herr Töpfer und Herr Schrödter (Hahn Meitner Institut Berlin) mit Fräulein Lenke und Fräulein Schierarndt die notwendigen numerischen Rechnungen am elektronischen Rech ner durchgeführt; zu besonderem Dank für Diskussionen und Hinweise bin ich auch Herrn Dr. B ruh n.
