Disbound. Condizione: Very Good. House of Representatives Report 24. Scarce report document of recommendations based on the reports of and Major Stephen Harriman Long's Yellowstone Expedition of 1819. Chipped edges on brittle paper, light foxing. The stringbound ten-page report, pages [1]-10, is followed by seven folding tables of the army distribution. The expedition resulted in the establishment of several forts, and much of the report deals with fort plans and the threat of "powerful and warlike nations of Indians," particularly the Mandans. ; 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall.
