The study will synthesized the unitarist and pluralist theories to explain perception of workplace relations and will therefore interpret such events as workplace conflict, the role of unions, industrial action and job regulation differently. Also, the concept of strike action and perception will use to buttress the literature review. The study will employed a descriptive sectional design with a self-administered questionnaire survey method to collect data from respondents which were randomly selected from the study population and in depth interviews will be conducted among top officers in FCE (Special), Oyo. The quantitative data will be analysed with statistical package for social sciences (SPSS). 72 pp. Englisch.

In developing countries, the prevalence of iron deficiency is high and is due mainly to a low intake of bioavailable iron and may also co-exists with malnutrition, vitamin A deficiency, foliate deficiency and infection. Sleep deprivation disrupts vital biological processes that are necessary for cognitive ability and physical health, but the effect on haematological indices of anaemic individual are largely unknown. The purpose of this present study is to determine the effect of sleep deprivation on red blood cell morphology in rats induced with iron deficiency anaemia. The haematological parameter of anaemic rats fed with garri was investigated. Garri, popular Nigerian fermented cassava gruel was used to feed rats for twenty-five days and were later sleep deprived for 7days. Thirty rats were divided into Groups I, II, III and IV respectively. Result suggested that nutrients rich in iron content should be adopted in daily diet 124 pp. Englisch.

La privación del sueño altera procesos biológicos vitales que son necesarios para la capacidad cognitiva y la salud física, pero se desconoce en gran medida su efecto sobre los índices hematológicos del individuo anémico. El objetivo del presente estudio es determinar el efecto de la privación del sueño sobre la morfología de los glóbulos rojos en ratas a las que se les ha inducido una anemia ferropénica. Se investigó el parámetro hematológico de ratas anémicas alimentadas con garri. Se utilizó garri, una popular papilla nigeriana de yuca fermentada, para alimentar a las ratas durante veinticinco días y posteriormente se las privó de sueño durante 7 días. Se dividieron treinta ratas en los grupos I, II, III y IV respectivamente. Los resultados sugieren que los nutrientes ricos en hierro deben ser adoptados en la dieta diaria. 124 pp. Spanisch.
