Paperback. Condizione: New. Print on Demand. This book examines the nature of Galvanism, a phenomenon discovered by the authorâs uncle and namesake, that explores the electrical properties of animal tissue and its role in muscular movement. The author demonstrates that Galvanism is an electrical current produced by the animal body itself, independent of external sources like metals, but which can be enhanced by metallic conductors. The book presents a series of detailed experiments, observations, and theories that explore the relationship between Galvanism and electricity, showing how it can be used to explain various physiological phenomena, and opening new avenues for medical applications. The author also discusses the broader implications of Galvanism for understanding the nature of life and the role of electricity in biological processes. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item.…
