Prima edizione
Hardcover. 8vo. Black cloth spine with white lettering and green paper over boards, dust jacket. xii, 212pp. Fine/very good. Faintest bit of jacket edgewear; ownership signature on front flyleaf. Exceptionally tight and handsome first edition of this (to cite front jacket panel) "dialogue on important trends in religious thought based on the latest works of Martin Heidegger." Tipped to the front flyleaf is an Autograph Note Signed from Robinson, 1p, 8" X 11", Claremont, CA, 7 August 1967. Addressed to Mr. Manfred. Very good. On "Claremont Graduate School and University Center" letterhead, Robinson tells his correspondent "Thank you for your expression of interest. It would be a privilege to meet you some time in New York." Nicely penned in blue ballpoint and boldly signed in full. Robinson (1924-2016) was a distinguished California theologian, scholar and editor.

Rivista / Giornale
Volume 1, nos. 1-7 of the journal affiliated with Edward Bellamy's movement; bound together in moderately worn boards, cloth tearing on the outer hinges, but still intact; the textblock, which includes the original covers for each issue, is generally very good. Front endpaper has an earlier bookseller's penciled notations. Issue no. 1 is stated to be the sixth edition of that number. These issues include contributions by Bellamy, who had achieved renown for "Looking Backward" in the previous year.
