Paperback. Small 4to. Stiff wrappers. Pp. 221-321. Map, tables. Very good. Outer wrappers (only) show minor age toning and faint edgewear. Tight and nice issue of this scholarly quarterly, featuring Lincoln scholar Louis A. Warren's well-known article, "Herndon's Contribution to Lincoln Mythology" -- and at the top of the front wrapper Warren himself boldly pens "'Herndon's Contribution to Lincoln Mythology' / By Louis A. Warren 221-244" in black ink. From the collection of noted Lincoln and Civil War scholar (and Warren friend) Arnold F. Gates (1914-93). Most unusual. Warren (1885-1983) served as director of the Lincoln Library Museum in Fort Wayne, Indiana for many years.
