Original binding of brown cloth covered boards with leather title plate/gilt titles on the front, leather corners and leather over the spine, but the majority of the spine is missing. Wear to extremities and rubbing/marking to the top board, the back board is much cleaner. The… hinge and text block are fragile. Marbled end papers, book-plate inside the front, plus a newspaper article about the"Sale of Flaxman's Drawings.". No further inscriptions, the plates are remarkably smooth and clean towards the front of the book, with more foxing and brown spots progressively towards the back of the book.
