Pages crisp and clean except for some dust spotting around outside edges and a prior owner's embossed seal on the front free endpaper and half-title page; hard cover only moderately softened at spine ends and bottom corners, otherwise well-kept. Jacket bears shallow creasing around the top edges, a small, open tear on the bottom edge of the rear inside flap, and modest crimping at spine heel and bottom corners, otherwise clean and attractive, now protected in a clear sleeve.
