Hardcover. Condizione: Good. Publication dates: 1891-2009. 99 volumes, all ex-library and all bound in cloth. All called for plates throughout the set are present. Most are first editions. Publishers vary, though with many published by Harrison and Sons (early volumes) and The Boydell Press (later volumes). Volumes vary in condition, with just a few (6 volumes) in poor but usable condition. Overall, the conditions range between Fair and Good, though some newer volumes are Very Good. As is common, many hinges admit to being cracked, though bindings are generally firm. Only 3 volumes are lacking spine in whole or in part. Almost all volumes are free of markings. The paper quality is generally good or better, though some volumes will require extra care to avoid tears or to maintain the integrity of the binding. Typical wear on older (and some other) volumes includes small chips and short tears to extremities of volumes, including some pages, here and there. Overall, the set remains an attractive one and includes 6 folio volumes. A complete list of titles and a full description of each volume is available on request.
