This study collected and analysed both primary and secondary data. The study concluded that financial depth has a positive and significant influence on financial performance of commercial banks in Rwanda. Broad money and inflation also had significant influence on ROA, and therefore the study recommends that unless bank profitability depends on whether inflation expectations are fully anticipated. The study recommends that commercial banks in Rwanda need to reduce problem assets as high nonperforming loans dampen banks' potential lending capacity and, by extension, their ability to build up capital buffers. This book will give an insight to Rwandas strive to economic growth. It will be evident from this book that Rwanda has and takes successfull economic strides to achieve its vision. 52 pp. Englisch.

In dieser Studie wurden sowohl Primär- als auch Sekundärdaten gesammelt und analysiert. Die Studie kam zu dem Schluss, dass die finanzielle Tiefe einen positiven und signifikanten Einfluss auf die finanzielle Leistungsfähigkeit von Geschäftsbanken in Ruanda hat. Die Studie empfiehlt daher, dass die Rentabilität der Banken davon abhängt, ob die Inflationserwartungen vollständig antizipiert werden. Die Studie empfiehlt, dass Geschäftsbanken in Ruanda Problemaktiva abbauen müssen, da hohe notleidende Kredite die potenzielle Kreditvergabekapazität der Banken und damit auch ihre Fähigkeit zum Aufbau von Kapitalpuffern beeinträchtigen. Lo studio ha concluso che la profondità finanziaria ha un'influenza positiva e significativa sulla performance finanziaria delle banche commerciali in Ruanda. Anche la massa monetaria e l'inflazione hanno un'influenza significativa sul ROA, pertanto lo studio raccomanda che, a meno che la redditività delle banche non dipenda dalla piena anticipazione delle aspettative di inflazione.
