John Sidley ist die Ikone der Großaaljäger und auch als Einsteiger kann man von seinen zahllosen und unkonventionellen Ideen profitieren. Sicher ist der Schwerpunkt stark auf englische Verhältnissse gemünzt.aber so sehr unterscheidet Deutschland sich nicht. Schade, daß es nur noch so wenig Aale gibt. Aber als Aalangler MUSS man das gelesen haben. Für Aalangler empfehlenswert. Es wird zwar über das Aalangeln in England geschrieben, klar John Sidley ist ja schließlich Engländer gewesen, aber auch für die heimischen Gewässer kann man Vorgehensweisen und Montagen anwenden.
