Hence, this study is important to find out the existing knowledge and practices on ARI among the FCHV's working in Nepal. Another important aspect is that very few researches have been conducted in this area. This type of study is also important for local level planning and management of childhood respiratory disease at community level during the era of CB-IMCI.Also this study will be useful for the upcoming researchers for their study in the respective area.
