The February 26, 1995, issue of The Rhode Islander Magazine, The Providence Journal's Sunday magazine, almost entirely devoted to a photo-essay and story on the people of Alaska by the freelance photographer Jon DiPippo. The text, also by DiPippo, describes wandering around the outback of Alaska, meeting people who live off the grid in one way or another. The 19 accompanying photographs are all portraits of kids and characters with an occasional landscape and are well-printed. Photographs and text by Jonathan DiPippo. SIGNED BY DIPPIPO ("Jon") on the front and inscribed. Staple-bound newsprint; 24 pages; b&w and color illustrations; 10.5 x 11.5 inches.
