The first issue of "Free Britain" appeared in 1949 as a weekly, although by 1952 it was being issued erratically. It folded in 1958, largely coinciding with the death of Arnold Leese two years earlier. See, Nick Toczek, Haters, Baiters and Would-Be Dictators, pgs. 100-122. Aggiungi al carrelloThe final issue of The National Socialist, the organ of Colin Jordan's National Socialist Movement, which he founded with John Tyndall in 1962 as "the first unambiguously Nazi group since the war" (Nugent, 215). The men fell out in 1964 and Tyndall went on to establish the Greater Britain Movement. The publication went through numerous format changes over the course of its ten issues, but this was the only issue in a magazine digest format. Content for this issue includes an articles on white resistance in Rhodesia and Britain's Racial Relations Law (1965) - which made distribution of periodicals like The National Socialist illegal in England, Scotland and Wales except to "book club" members; an anti-Mosley editorial; "Why I Am a National Socialist .and Why You Should Be Too" by Colin Jordan; "Our Ancient Religion" by the Australian racial Odinist, A. Rud Mills; part 2 of a short article on "The British Swastika"; updates from National Socialist groups around the world (who were all part of the World Union of National Socialists); "The Great Awakening: The Truth about National Socialist German, Part One"; extracts from Mein Kampf. The issue concludes with a 3-page distribution list of National Socialist material available at Jordan's Phoenix Bookshop at 74 Princedale Rd. in London. Stapled, illustrated wrappers (8 " x 5 ½"), 20 p., illus. Staples rusty, else a near fine copy. Scarce. …

Aggiungi al carrelloThe penultimate issue of this erratically published newspaper of the National Socialist Movement (NSM), Britain's first explicitly post-war National Socialist organization. Founded by Colin Jordan and John Tyndall on Hitler's birthday in 1962, the party emerged out of a split in the British National Party, of which both men had been members. During its short existence, the group instigated the Trafalgar Square riot, led a paramilitary group called Spearhead, saw most of its leadership imprisoned, facilitated the formation of the World Union of National Socialists, and ultimately collapsed due to infighting. Tyndall left (or was kicked out) in 1964 and started the Greater Britain Movement while Jordan single-handedly kep the organization alive for another year or two before later forming the British Movement. This issue features a cover photo-montage of interracial couples, part of Jordan's lengthy article on "The Coloured Invasion" (later issued as a separate publication). Other content - all seemingly by Jordan - includes an article, "Hitler Was Right," an editorial, short news items, local and international coverage of National Socialist activities, and articles on the swastika and Aryan/Norse symbols. Tabloid format printed in black on newsprint, 8 pp., illus. Faint moisture spotting to the bottom margin of the front cover, else a very good copy. Any issue scarce in the trade.…

Aggiungi al carrelloThe seventh of only ten published issues of the erratically published newspaper of the National Socialist Movement (NSM), Britain's first explicitly post-war National Socialist organization. This issue features a bold cover headline, DON'T VOTE, and encourages readers not to vote for Tory, Labour or Liberal parties since all three support "coloured immigration into Britain" and "for the right of the Jews to occupy our land and control our affairs." A large photo-montage features various black immigrants and anti-Semitic cartoons. Other content includes an article by Colin Jordan on "The Great Lie of the 6,000,000"; a "Gleanings from the Ghetto" column by Julius; News Comment by John Tyndall; an article by Denis Pirie on Mussolini; extracts from Mein Kampf; Principles of National Socialist Ideology - No. 4 "Blood and Soil"; News of the N.S.M. by Denis Pirie; "Why I Am a Nazi" by Martin Webster; photographs of Jordan and others at Arnold Leese House; an article on the degeneracy of Beatlemania; pagan history, Nuremberg and reports from other World Union of National Socialists groups. Large tabloid format measuring 22" x 14", 8 pp., illustrated. Old staple bleed along the top margin, small grease mark in the center. Any issue scarce in commerce.…
