Map dimensions 62.5 x 57 cm, overall dimensions 67.5 x 61.5 cm. Folding full colour geological map of the London and environs. The map shows the extents from Watford down to Purley and Barking in the East across to Southall. Dissected into 20 sections and mounted on linen, folds between original dark green cloth boards, publisher's yellow printed advertisements to folded end section on linen verso and inner cover. The odd light mark, but generally the map and the covers in very good condition. Third edition, and judging by Hyde, second issue. The first issue of this edition appearing in 1891.
