Boards are securely held in place by binding and free of any significant damage. Fore edges are evenly toned. One page synopsis of this title located on front free endpaper. Pages are very lightly but evenly toned and text remains clear and legible. "To Isabel, By whose rare charm the character, Gretchen, in this story was conceived to us. - The Authors" printed on page before title page. 10 page prologue after title page.
