Printed wraps bound in library issued cardboard covers. 48 pp. As the title indicates, this is a brief history of the town of Methuen, Massachusetts from its settlement by white colonists to 1876. POOR/FAIR condition. Ex-library, with exterior spine labels and interior pastedowns and treatments. Wrappers bound into cardboard with gray cloth tape. Extremities of the cardboard worn and chipped, with loss at the corners. Wrappers tape repaired, with moderate toning and some soiling. Owner's name on the upper front wrapper. Text block loose from the wrappers, laid in, with the first several pages of the text block separate from the rest. The last few leaves included in duplicate. Overall a rather worn copy of this work.
