The book was planned to cover the various social networks that exists in the society with special reference to those who are operated by women and for women. The networking is a significant activity of the human social life. Those who are successful in forming stronger network benefit maximum from the society while those in periphery left to struggle harder. Women in any society by its age old traditional arrangements unable to assume important function in the process hence more open to exploitation. That is why the social reform for women started by formation of the women's groups which are concentrating on creating network and linking them with the social system more meaningfully. There is a great hope for encompassing a larger mass through use of modern communication technologies. However though having powerful traditional communication system existed in the society they were under the control of section which consists of more men. Similarly the technology is also feared to be controlled by the same section of the society but have certain basic features which have inherent capacity to allow more freedom and democracy. Women have started encashing these aspects for their own benefits. Thus in social networking the technology has a special place which is undoubtedly being reflected in the book. The book has also not shy off covering the animal network as pure and social sciences have learned a lot from the animal life. 212 pp.
