XII. 1873) in dem Artikel "Zur Einführung der Schwurgerichte in Oesterreich", als Aussage Glasers zu lesen stand: "Es 'würde wenig passen, wenn die der Fällung des Wahrspruches vorausgegangene…Verhandlung es zweifelhaft macht, ob bei ruhiger Erwägung die Geschworenen nicht anders entschieden haben würden. Das einzige Gefühl, welches anzurufen die Staatsanwälte nicht müde werden dürfen, ist das Pflichtgefühl der Geschworenen.' [.]". - Glaser war Justizminister von 1871 bis 1879 im Kabinett Adolf Auersperg, 1870-80 Mitglied des Niederösterreichischen Landtags und gilt als Urheber der Strafprozeßordnung von 1873, welche auch die Geschworenengerichte einführte. - Verso mit Spuren alter Montage und Aquisitionsvermerk des Sammlers.
