In particular, the tradition of Sarmatism, representing a fusion of Eastern cultural influences and the ideals of Polish nobility, is highlighted as a key aspect of Polish heritage. The narrative frames Sarmatism not only as a gentry concept but as a defining trait of all Poles, depicting a rich cultural heritage that thrived even amid adversity.Moreover, Jurasz illustrates the inclusive nature of Polish culture, characterised by its co-existence with various nationalities and faiths.
