Von Kapherr was a German author and chief forester. His trips to Siberia with his friend, Prince Dshaparidse, a Georgian nobleman, fascinated him so much that in later years he founded a fishing company in northwestern Siberia. The book relates many hunting adventures at the turn of the 20th century, hunting moose, reindeer, bear and other game. Some pages are darkened with spotted markings created during the printing process. Very good.
