Red cloth covered boards with white polka dot pattern and title to green patch on spine. Re-bound ex library copy with associated labels, stamps and annotations. In English. Dimensions: 19.5cm x 13cm x 3cm. This is the totally absorbing novelisation of a true murder case from Belgium in the 1880s. In their youth, two brothers mingle their blood and pledge to give up everything to help the other, if ever called upon. The result is the murder of a lawyer in Brussels - but who is the supposed killer, George Green? Pages generally clean and bright, but with some small tears and marks in places. A cracked gutter at front and the synopsis page is detaching, but binding remains firm. Boards have moderate shelf wear with some rubbing, fraying and corner bumping, some mild tanning to spine and a shiny stain on front.
