Numerous photo illustrations throughout book with frontispiece "Male Beared Tit feeding its Young" with tissue protector. End pages have…some foxing, staining; and pencil markings. Inner spine crease is weakened with library tape applied, but pages intact. Pages glossy. Olive green hard covers with gild lettering and illustration of man photographing a bird on a ledge overlooking the sea. Some smudges, discoloration areas, and fading on covers; Corners, edges,and spine ends worn and rubbed. Spine extremely faded. Chapter headings include: Apparatus and General Advice; Photographing in Cliffs and Trees, and from Boats; Birds; Mammals; Insects and other Small Deer; Bits by Pond, River, and Seashore.
