This two softcover pamphlet listing includes the U.S. Keds Handbook of Sports and Games - - with a boy wearing a catcher?s mask and glove on the front cover - - with 48 pages - - and then the contents including short treatments on such sports as baseball, paddling a canoe, swimming, basketball, fishing, football, etc. - - with the football article written by Coach Frank Leahy. This copy is in good condition with wear showing to the covers and with a ?bald spot? on the front cover where someone has removed a circular sticker and pulled away a bit of coloring. The text pages are in generally very good condition with no markings and with age-toning to the paper. The second booklet - U.S. Keds Handbook of Sports - is also a 48-page booklet with red softcover of three figures in a baseball game - and again with similar contents of articles by Frisch on baseball - ?Official Little League Baseball Rules? - - also camping, golf, high-jumping, tumbling, etc. The two short features by Frisch and Leahy appear to be the same but most of the content in the two items is not duplication. Both items are profusely illustrated with artistic drawings and a few black-and-white photos with this second item in very good condition with again the spot of ?removed sticker? on the front cover but beyond that no markings and only modest wear showing.
