A First Edition, first printing, from 1963, in 210 pages with ads for other Whitman titles in rear, illustrated in duotones throughout. Condition is Near Fine: incredibly scarce for this title, since it was well-read & loved! Exceptionally clean & bright, binding strong & straight, hinges secure. Pages mildly tanned, heavier around edges, but completely unmarked. The clear acetate covering is amazingly intact with little evidence of the peeling that typically affects these books.
