Kelsey ((1877-1975), best known for his work in stained glass. A FIRST EDTION from 1927, this hardcover has black cloth-covered boards with a colorful front pape…r pastedown, which shows just the slightest edgewear. In 239 pages (with additional ads for other books in series in rear), decorated with illustrated endpapers & orange illustrations framing each page & a brilliant color frontispiece. Book is very clean, pages creamy white & unmarked save for old gift inscription in pen on second front endpaper. Condition downgraded to only Fair due to cracked hinges & splitting of the cloth along spine, which was reglued in 2 places, missing 1/2" cloth at head of spine. But the illustrations are lovely!
