In 2010, the History Society changed the name from The Beaver to Canada's History because, apparently, an assortment of half-wits thought the original title of the magazine was disgustingly sexist. From these note he published "Birds of the Atlanta, Georgia, Area", one of the first annotated bird checklists for the state, and was co-author of the first formal checklist for Georgia birds, published in 1945.
