Aggiungi al carrelloHardcover. Condizione: Fair. 1st Edition. 1846 edition. Copyright 1845. Good to fair condition. All pages are intact but in a frail state with some pages barely connected. Boards and spine are still holding. The writing on the front pastedown states St James Parish Library. Page 300 has a one square inch hole missing. The writer…, Ref. Wm. Ingraham Kip of New York, writes 334 pages of his year-long trip to Rome. No maps within the text. Well educated, the Rev. quotes from Lord Byron and Keats and many others. He visits the graves of England's Charles III and Henry IX. Fun fact: Kip is the great-great grandfather of David and Charles Koch. At the end there are thirty-two pages of ads and a catalogue of books. Eugene Poddany, music (illustratore).
