In beiden Fällen spielen Medien eine entscheidende Rolle, denn sie fördern Mobilität ebenso, wie sie Folgen der Mobilisierung kompensieren. Mit Beobachtungen und Befragungen wurden unterschiedliche Alltagsgestaltungen nachvollzogen. Mediennutzung erscheint einmal mehr als prägendes Element in den unterschiedlichen Situationen des Alltages. Insbesondere zeigte sich, dass Medien die zergliedernden Phasen des Unterwegsseins mit Bedeutung füllen können. Die Ergebnisse dieser Studie betonen darüber hinaus die kommunikative Funktion von Medien über die einzelnen Phasen des Tages hinweg und somit die medialen Verbindungen im alltäglichen Handlungsfluss. 224 pp. Deutsch.
