Exhibition Announcement Cards. This is not a book. The original announcement card for an exhibition of work by Stuart Sutcliffe (1940-1962) titled "Retrospective: Paintings, Drawings, Photographs" and held at Westwood Gallery, NYC, October 17 - November 3, 2001. (After the card was printed, the show was expanded to October 4 - November 24, 2001.) Sutcliffe was one of the original Beatles but quit to pursue his passion for art. The front features a photograph of Sutcliffe by Astrid Kirchherr. Single sheet of glossy thin card, folded once to 4 pages; 5 x 7 inches. Condition: Fine/As New. Laid-in is an original essay by Donald Kuspit issued as part of the gallery press release. Will be sandwiched securely between stiff layers of cardboard and shipped the next business day.
