Collection of thirty-five original documents, namely, thirty-one billheads and two Monthly Statements printed in black ink on beige paper and two credit memoranda printed in dark blue ink on light blue paper. Billheads also have typed text in purple or black ink. Statements and memoranda have handwriting in black ink and dark blue colored pencil, respectively. Billheads and memoranda datelined 1899 or 1900 in Sacramento, California. Statement shows location is Sacramento with the year 1900 (pay dates are August 10, 1900 for July statement and September 8, 1900 for August statement). With the exception of one billhead, all documents are dated 1900. Billheads dated December 28, 1899 and the following dates in 1900: June 21, 23, and 28, July 3, 7, 11, 13, 16, 19, 23, 26, and 27, August 1, 3, 11, 14, 16, 18, 23, 27, and 30, and September 1, 3, 8, 11, 17, 20 (two billheads for September 20), 21, and 24. Documents range in size between about 5 1/2" x 6 1/2" and 8 1/4" x 9." All documents are very clean and intact overall except for light to moderate age toning, a few horizontal and vertical fold lines, slight wrinkling, and a paper stub tipped in at right edge or bottom edge on back. Each document and the entire collection are Very Good. A collection of thirty-one original billheads, two Monthly Statements, and two credit memoranda from Kirk, Geary & Company of Sacramento, California to Frank Kunsting of Franklin, California. The number of line items on each document varies. The statements show transactions (written mostly as numerical figures) for the months of July and August 1900. Each credit memorandum has one line item; one notes how an item was returned. Among the items Kunsting purchased on the billheads are "Garfield Tea," "1/4 Doz. Liebig's Ext. Beef, Sml.," "Gum Assafoetida," "Rheum. Dissolv. Kennedy's," "Bickmore's Gall Cure," "Licorice Lozs.," "Astringent Pencils," "Vaccine P.
