Prima edizione
Hardcover. Condizione: Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. Although seemingly not a fit subject for satire or humor, this little book (4 5/8" X 6 1/8") contains the musings of a bored stenographer who is in love with her boss and dreams of replacing his wife when she dies. The green cloth cover has some smudges at the corners (probably thumbprints) and a water stain at the back panel. The paper covering of the board has worn through at the top and bottom of the spine and the bottom front edges are bumped and beginning to fray. The drawing on the front of stenographer and boss, however, is still very nice and the contents are clean and tight. Kiser was a very popular poet of the period. Language: eng.

Prima edizione
Hardcover. Condizione: Very Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. The Whole Glad Year was written by Samuel Ellsworth Kiser. The small hard cover booklet was published by P. F. Volland & Co. in 1911 and appears to be a First Edition though it's not specifically stated as such. It's not an ex-library copy and is in very good + condition, though it does have an inscription on the back of the front loose end page which dates the book to Christmas of 1914. The booklet is 5 1/4" by 8 1/4" and has around 25 "pages". Each page is a double page that has not been split into two separate pages. The book consists of a poem for each moth of the year, most dealing with an aspect of spirituality, and each poem on a page that has a background illustration on it. In its time it had to be a pretty fancy little book. Thank you!
