Some of the pages have slight smudging- appears to be ink, probably from the printers. Born in New Ulm, Minnesota in 1893, Gag studied art and then moved to New York. She became well-known for her lithographs and illustrations. After a major exhibit at the Weyhe Gallery, she started writing and illustrating her own books, most notably "Millions of Cats. " GOOD+/-- covers a bit smudged, otherwise in good shape, no DJ.
