Original leather (?) red boards, embossed gilt titles and border trim with embossed Liner and decorative designs to front cover. Spine: gilt titles, embossed decorative design and bands. Faint soft rubbing to only some of the extremeties with few only small white specks to rear cover. Edges: thumb indexed with gilt titles over black label; gilt top edge still shiny albeit a touch rubbed. Fore & bottom edges with moderate foxing. Soft rubbing to fore corner tips. Eps: original red mottle pattern albeit lightly faded on margins. Very faint foxing to ffep & refps. Nice clean glossy content. Colour & b/w illustrations. Binding is VG+ albeit being a heavy book feels a touch loose. 780p Large & heavy book: 29.5 x 25 x 5 cm Nearly 4kgs. Ex-Library.
