Fractional bump (if at all) to top of spine. Sharp bump-free corners. Page-block gilded at top edge. Rest of page-block a little dusty/spotted. Red end papers with no cracks. Inscription to top verso of front blank (adjacent to half-title page). One or two handling marks to margins and occasional very light fox spots. Overall contents are very clean and bright. Binding and boards are firm. Slight straining in two places (please see image). i-vi, pp282, 2. 8 stunning tipped-in colour plates. All as called for. A lovely example. Very good++.
