Sie beginnt mit dem für uns nationalen Patentamt, dem DPMA (Deutsches Patent und Markenamt), dessen Hauptsitz in München ist. Im zweiten Abschnitt folgt das EPA (Europäisches Patentamt). Das EPA ist ein regionales Patentamt, da es speziell für die Region Europa zuständig ist. Welche Nationen in der EPÜ (Europäischen Patentübereinkunft) zusammengefasst sind, lässt sich sehr gut aus den folgenden Darstellungen zum EPA entnehmen. Der dritte Abschnitt ist der WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization) gewidmet. Die WIPO ist das internationale 'Patentamt' von den drei vorgestellten Organisationen.Innerhalb der einzelnen Abschnitte folgen die Ausarbeitungen ebenfalls einem Schema, damit der Leser während des Studierens der Arbeit schon Vergleiche ziehen kann. So beginnen die Abschnitte immer mit einer Kurzeinführung oder auch Vorstellung der jeweiligen Ämter, dem folgen Ausführungen über den Aufbau. Als dritten Teil nahmen wir uns vor eine Darstellung des Patentierungsverfahrens einzubringen und zum Abschluss folgt eine Darstellung der hauseigenen Datenbank und der Recherchemöglichkeiten darin. Der letzte Punkt wurde von uns durch Screenshots visualisiert, damit ein leichterer Zugang zu dem niedergeschriebenen erfolgen kann.[English abstract]The following work cuts into three main areas.
