Green gilt paper over half vellum with gilt titling and decoration. Toned and age-soiled, scuffed, rubbed, edgeworn; front board gently warped outward. Slight 'green' or 'must' scent in book. Spine square. Binding…sound. Housed in papered slipccase, good with moderate shelf-wear and edgewear. Bookplate at front paste down, and a small library blind stamp at opposite page facing the limitation page; no other library indicators. Light foxing to textblock edges, and there is some faint color transfer from illustrations to facing pages. Lavishly illustrated with 44 pictures from Alois Kolb, including fifteen full-page plates hand-signed by Kolb in pencil. This item is oversized, and may require additional postage to ship.

Den Druck besorgte die Offizin W. Drugulin, Leipzig, die Handeinbande stellte E. A. Enders [-] Alois Kolb leitete den Satz, die Ausstattung und radierte den Bildschmuck.
