Two vintage color double weight studio still photographs of Gregory Hines and one vintage black and white studio still photograph of Mel Brooks and Gregory Hines from the 1981 film. An ambitious, sprawling historical farce made by Mel Brooks in the heat of his success as a film director. In the film Brooks plays Moses, Tomas de Torquemada, King Louis XVI, and Jacques, "Jacques, le garcon de pisse." Part I begins, of course, with the Dawn of Man, and covers The Old Testament, The Roman Empire, The Spanish Inquisition, and The French Revolution, ending with a "preview" of Part II (never made, in keeping with Sir Walter Raleigh, who was beheaded before he could write his Part II). Revised Draft script for the 1999 film belonging to an unknown crew member, with an annotation in manuscript ink on front wrapper of a telephone number, and annotations of dialogue changes, in manuscript pencil, on first two pages of script, with many pages creased from dog-ears and/or vertical folds, as is common with working scripts. Bound in, preceding script, is the full six page shooting schedule for August 6 through September 1, 1998, and a nine page "Staff & Crew List." Based on cartoonist Martin Taras' gargantuan baby duck cartoon character, made for Paramount Pictures' Famous Studios in the 1950s, most frequently appearing in Paramount's theatrical shorts "Noveltoons." Directed by and starring Stephen Furst (Flounder from "National Lampoon's Animal House"), the direct-to-video, live-action, children's musical comedy, finds Nick (Michael Angarano) and his friends protecting Baby Huey from the evil scientist Prof. von Klupp (Harvey Korman), and the unscrupulous Las Vegas producer P.T.Wynnsocki (Joseph Bologna). A mostly unseen children's film with an ever-growing adult cult following, featuring performances from Maureen McCormick ("The Brady Bunch"), David L. Lander ("Lavern & Shirley"), John Vernon ("National Lampoon's Animal House), and Laraine Newman ("Saturday Night Live"). Green titled self-wrappers, integral with title page, last revision dated 8/12/98, with credits for screenwriter Matty Simmons. 81 leaves, with last page of text numbered 65. Mimeograph duplication, rectos only, with pink, yellow, and green revision pages throughout, dated variously between 7/31/98 and 8/12/98. Three original oversize printed set illustrations and one original graphite set illustration from the 1981 film. The three oversize printed set illustrations are two grand set designs for the Roman Empire sequence and one for the French Revolution sequence, with two of the printed set illustrations stamped with a Crossbow Productions title block with the names of credited Production Designer Harold Michelson, credited Art Director Norm Newberry, and uncredited "Co-Ordinator" Hank Wynands, one with a manuscript pencil annotation on the lower right of "To Barry / From Bill + [illegible]." The original graphite set illustration for the "Temple of Eros" is unsigned, and was used for the set design for the beginning of the Roman Empire sequence, which featured a brief cameo from Hugh Hefner outside of the Temple of Eros.
