The entire textblock is unopened. Minor uneven fading to covers and spine, else a near fine copy. Printed on the occasion of a trip by The Grolier Club, New York, to Brussels. The brochure reproduces six letters written by Rops during a voyage to America. Rops was a painter, engraver and lithographer closely associated with the French Symbolists of late nineteenth century Paris. Letters are extracted from Maurice Kunel's book Félicien Rops: voyages et correspondence. Title page reproduces one of Rops's drawings. The brochure was designed by Fernand Baudin.
