Née en 1770, Antoinette Le Duc épousa Louis-Armand-Modeste Gazeau, comte de la Bouëre (1765-1847). Ce dernier figurait parmi les principaux officiers de l'Armée d'Anjou. Il prit les armes dès mars 1793, constitua une Petite Armée dans les Mauges et déposa les armes après la signature du traité de la Jaunaye, en février 1795. Il finit sa vie près de Poitiers.
