However the key elelments of the image are clear and good. The image taken circa late 19th/early 20th century. He has signed & inscribed the bottom edge of photo "from affectionate uncle.Gage." Thomas Robert Baillie Gage was born in 1842. He was originally from Limavady and during his time in Dublin lived at Landsdowne Lodge, Landsdowne Road, Dublin. He died on 19th February in 1914. During his time in Dublin he was Solicitor of The Post Office in Ireland. Signed by Author.

David Plunket, First Baron Rathmore (1838-1919) was an Irish lawyer and conservative politician.Plunket was the third son of John Plunket, 3rd Baron Plunket, second son of William Plunket, 1st Baron Plunket, Lord Chancellor of Ireland. His mother was Charlotte, daughter of Charles Kendal Bushe, Lord Chief Justice of Ireland, while the Most Reverend William Plunket, 4th Baron Plunket, Archbishop of Dublin, was his elder brother. He was educated at Trinity College, Dublin and was called to the Irish Bar in 1862.
