Interior is clean and bright, unmarked, in a solid binding. Unpaginated, around 100 pages, black and white and color artwork, including essays by Bolton Colburn, Janice Lovoos, and Jean Stern. Messick was famous across California for his life and figure scenes.

First printing, illustrated card covers with plastic comb binding, price guide is paper clipped to inside of rear cover, comb binding is disintegrating with several missing teeth and an approx. 2" chip to base of plate, has very slight bumps to corners, some slight rubbing to covers, and a touch of edgewear, otherwise a solid, clean Good+ copy.
