Aggiungi al carrelloSoftcover. Condizione: Fair. First edition. Folio. 5pp. Wrappers. The front cover is detached but present, the other two leaves are joined by an early cloth tape repair, significant edgewear throughout including a large tear to the front cover but no content appears to be affected, a complete but fair only copy. For voice and pi…ano, four verses written in dialect (albeit a lighter version of it than we've seen in other such songs of this time period). Plate number, 41-55941-3. A song involving the age-old trope of a man trying to impress a woman who doesn't find him all that impressive. The back cover features several single-measure samples of other songs including "Lizzie Was Sae Bonnie" and "Mollie, The Pride of Killarney." *OCLC* locates only two holdings of this song and it appears to be equally scarce in the trade.
