A song involving the age-old trope of a man trying to impress a woman who doesn't find him all that impressive. The back cover features several single-measure samples of other songs including "Lizzie Was Sae Bonnie" and "Mollie, The Pride of Killarney." *OCLC* locates only two holdings of this song and it appears to be equally scarce in the trade.
