In 1996 Sami took a pilgrimage to India to explore his roots and the traditions of his ancestors. In a country known for its exotic spices and dishes he found the best food in small, unpretentious shacks, served at reasonable prices and with the warmest smiles. Using this as his inspiration he returned to Vancouver to open Sami's, serving Indo-American fusion cuisine that will feed you very well and nourish your soul.
