New headbands added. Entirely rebacked and mostly resewn. Now clean and tight and attractive. 301 pages. Illustrated throughout with photographs of buildings and people. Rubberstamp on back of title page says "Duplicate, Withdrawn from [illegible] Society." Small white handwritter library-number sticker on front cover. No other library marks. On the inside front cover, there is a Reception Invitation pasted in, "Reception by the Medical Faculty of Howard University, Friday, January 27, 1898 at 8 pm." at the Opening of the New Amphitheatre. At the inside back cover, there is a full page advertisement tipped in, for the Freedman's Hospital, Washington DC, Training School for Nurses."
