It contains Come-On Girl, s Sam Moraine novel by Charles J Kenny (Erle Stanley Gardner), part 2 of 5 of They Who Have, a novel by Reita Lambert, Time of Flight, a story by Hal Borland, Crime's Family Doctor, an article by J Edgar Ho…over, All Quiet at Second Base, an article about HoF 2nd baseman Charlie Gehringer by Harold A Fitzgerald, Monopolist - Charles Brace Darrow - an Interesting People feature of the "inventor" of the board game Monopoly, and others. Light rubbing to the covers. Spine roll. Small piece of celo tape at the bottom of the spine. Has a 3.125" x .635" cutout at the upper middle fore edge of page 137/138. It affects the Flit ad (137) and the poem at the beginning of the text of the All Quiet at Second Base article by Harold A Fitzgerald (138). There are no missing pages. The main attraction of this issue is the Come-On Girl. It's text is not affected by the cutout. It's one of only 2 stories written by Gardner using the Charles J Kenny pseudonym, both featuring Sam Moraine. This one is less common than This is Murder, a novel published by Morrow. A good to very good copy with a rare Erle Stanley Gardner story.
