Cloth mottled and faded, corners bumped with a bit of cardboard exposed there, 1/8th inch deep fraying at head and foot of spine. Internally, previous owner's 1886 sgn (John Udelhofen) with a few other faded sgns on front endpapers, paper lightly age yellowed, sporadic stray foxing, otherwise tight, clean, relatively crisp and unmarked.
