Lambertye recommends that troops be used for clearing and cultivating the earth, rather than… for building canals and roads. The plates depict how and where bases should be set up, how troops should be quartered, etc. Printed on extremely fine wove paper, with the plates on extremely fine laid paper. 8vo. BOUND IN THE ORIGINAL SPECKLED BOARDS WITH MOROCCO SPINE LABEL, AS ISSUED. ENTIRELY UNCUT. Tiny traces of wear to binding, else FINE AND BRIGHT, with no defects. Colors very fresh. This book is extremely rare: the only other copy I have located is that in the Bibliotheque Nationale in Paris. Perhaps unique in such fine, pristine condition.
