Die hier ebenfalls enthaltene und mit dem zeitgenössischen Vorwort von Carl. V. Ossietzky publizierte Fortsetzung "Das Irrenhaus" wurde 1914 geschrieben, konnte jedoch erst 1919 erscheinen.
