Brick red cloth-covered boards, embossed decorations on front and spine, gilt titles on front and spine. 4to. . Mottling and soiling to boards. Spine slightly sun-faded, lightly soiled, spine ends rubbed with some minor splits in cloth. Corners rubbed and rounded with cloth worn through. Text block edges tanned. Tanning on free endpapers. Pencil scribbles on front endpapers, half-title and title page. Gutters stretched occasionally throughout volume. Light foxing throughout, heaviest towards prelims. On house and cottage construction with chapters on subjects like setting up in business, the builder and the architect, excavation, drain laying and paving etc.
